The pre-owned clothes debate

We all grew up around the notion of wearing used clothes. Who hasn’t been given the hand-me-down clothes from an elder sibling? We still hear the familiar giggles on the stories of the dress while browsing an old photo album.  As we marched up in our economic ladder and became more distributed families, the sharing of, what is otherwise a perfect piece of garment has almost disappeared.

Why Once Again

The urban population is becoming more and more of a disposable society. We buy things, we use it, we flaunt it on our social sites and replace it dispassionately when we get bored of it. Sometimes we dispose it off by giving it to others, sometimes it just gets dumped on the city grounds, lakes and rivers and more often than not it just sits in our homes occupying valuable space.
